Peak Pursuits Tittesworth Challenge Event
An inspiring multi-event team challenge at a beautiful Peak District location in the Staffordshire Moorlands. Starting at the Peak Pursuits at Tittesworth Water Centre and finishing at the trig point at The Roaches, the challenge is a journey consisting of:
- Canoe-orienteering
- Cycling
- Scrambling
- Hike to the finish
Incorporating problem solving and clues to plot your route.
Aim: This day is designed to provide a sense of fun; but it will also encourage an increase in both teamwork and communication within the group.Fitness: This day is designed to fit the ability of all the clients and will be set at the physical ability of the group.
Assistance: Peak Pursuits qualified staff will be on site to instruct the day and provide the team with appropriate assistance.Equipment: All specialised equipment will be provided by Peak Pursuits, the clients would only be required to bring along appropriate clothing.
Outcomes: At the end of the challenge the team members should feel a sense of achievement and enjoyment. Hidden within the day you should recognise improved communication, assistance in recognising each others strengths and weakness’, and a higher level of respect for their colleagues. Individuals may feel a sense of self worth and improved self esteem.
