The wise old man of the organisation (well, nearly the oldest)! I worked for Staffordshire Police Force from 1965-95 where I was an Outdoor Pursuits Instructor in the Cadet Training Dept. I have worked in Staffordshire Youth Service from 1987 to the present and I have been involved with The Duke of Edinburgh's Award for the same length of time.

I hold BELA, ML (trained) and BCU 1 Star Canoe Test.

I have walked many National Trails including The Pennine Way, West Highway, Great Glen, South Downs, Dales Way and The Cumbrian Way.
