Graham is a level 3 Coach (Sea) with additional qualifications and experience in inland kayak and open canoe. He is also a BCU Assessor for the Canoe Safety Award.

Graham has kayaked since 1980 and been involved in coaching since the mid eighties. He has paddled in the UK and abroad and leads regular kayak expeditions to the Bahamas. UK trips include North Wales and the Isles of Scilly.

Employed as a Probation Officer for 30 years, Graham took early retirement in 2003 to develop Activity and Adventure programmes with the Voluntary and Community sector.
