Hi, I'm Neil. I've been taking people into the outdoors for over 10 years. I'm qualified in open canoeing, kayaking, climbing, hill walking, power boating, mountain biking, first aid, and I have a certificate in cognitive rehabilitation . My real love at the moment is snow sports; I ski, snowboard and telemark. I also have experience of working with children and young people displaying challenging behaviour. For the last few years I have been working mainly with people with traumatic brain injuries.
Interesting things you might like to know about me;
- I'm scared of power kites, as I got dragged across a field full of cow pats and through a barb wire fence after I made my own harness and couldn't let go when the wind picked up!
- I'm scared of cows for the same reason.
- I'm learning to fly at the moment.
- I live in one of the coldest places known to man - we only see sunshine on about 3 days per year.
- I'm Scottish. Yes I do have a kilt, and no, I can't tell you what you want to know...
Hope to see you out and about with Peak Pursuits soon! |
