Paul started peak Pursuits in 1999. it was his love of the outdoors and working with young people that inspired him to start the venture. He has a wealth of experience and maintains a hands on approach within the busines, leading many land based activities including walking, climbing, mountainbiking and snowboarding.

Paul has been involved in outdoor pursuits for 15 years. He started as a caver and moved into rockclimbing, mountain walking and biking. Paul holds the British Mountaineering Councils' Mountain Leaders Award. Paul has also achieved the British Schools of Cycling, Mountainbike Leaders Award, Red Cross Expedition First Aid Certificate and is also trained as a Single Pitch Supervisor in rockclimbing. Paul is presently the land based activities co-ordinator for the Newcastle under Lyme Duke of Edinburgh's Award. An active member of the Five Towns Mountaineers.
