Hi I'm Steve. I look after all the Duke of Edinburgh Award Expeditions, and manage the team. I've been involved with the Award since 14, when I did my own Bronze Expedition in the Peak District. I've got all 3 Awards, and did my Gold Expedition in the Outer Hebridean Isles of Lewis & Harris (where it rains a lot!).

I've been running D of E Award groups for over 20 years, through Boys Brigade companies, and for Milton Keynes and Danbury Open Award Centres. I'm a qualified BEL Expedition Leader, hold a First Aid certificate, and I'm also an accredited Bronze & Silver Assessor for Staffs County Council.

I grew up in Nottingham, but have spent the last 15 years working in London and living in the South East, so it's good to be back in familiar territory. When I'm not D of E-ing, I'm a keen Nottingham Forest supporter – and still remember the good ol' days when we were European Champions!
