For the more experienced rider we offer the
following weekend break:
Over the two day period our fully qualified,
experienced and friendly Leader will guide you through two of the
classic and breathtaking off road routes of the Peak District. A
good level of fitness is required as is some experience of off road
riding on a mountain bike.
- Saturday -
A circuit of the historic Ladybower Reservoir. The technical
climbs and long sweeping downs will prime you for the next
day.
- Sunday -A circuit of the Hope Valley guiding you towards the summit of Mam Tor. Otherwise known as "shivering mountain" it is one of the most prominent hills in the Peak District and is guaranteed to blow the cobwebs away! On the summit is the site of an iron age fort with superb views of Edale, Kinder, and The Hope Valley. We will ride back towards Castleton via the ridge of The Hope Valley and Edale Cross.
£135 PER PERSON, FULL BOARD, MINIMUM 4 PEOPLE. Saturday night bunkhouse accommodation. Transport back-up throughout and all specialist activity equipment included. Group bookings can be arranged throughout the year.
