Peak Pursuits runs excellent value First Aid courses in 4 hour and 8 hour options. Following the BCU syllabus, participants gain recognised accreditation. Courses are suitable for non paddlers.

BCU Primary First Aid Award - 4hrs 
Valid for three years this course provides a basic level of knowledge and skill to render First Aid should the need arise and within a reasonable distance of medical assistance. Assessment is ongoing throughout the course and covers:

• Being a First Aider
• Action in an Emergency
• Unconscious Adults
• Shock and Severe Bleeding
• Environmental Injuries

4hr Primary First Aid: £295+ vat (maximum 8) or £60 per person (minimum of 4). Price includes certification cost but no manual

BCU Aquatic First Aid Level 1 - 8hrs
Valid for three years this course provides a basic level of knowledge and skill to render First Aid in a range of emergency situations within a reasonable distance of medical assistance. Minimum age is 14 yrs old.  Assessment is ongoing throughout the course.
