On this 2 day non residential recreational course you will be introduced to white water kayaking. All instruction and specialist equipment is included. Under the guidance of qualified and highly experienced BCU coaches you will cover basic moving water skills including:

• Breaking in and out
• ferry gliding
• surfing basic river features
• simple safety and rescue techniques
• reading the water
• kayaking equipment
• applying flat water rescue techniques to the river environment

Paddlers booking onto this event should have basic boat handling skills consistent with atleast BCU 2 Star certificate.
