expedition packages for schools & youth groups

Peak Pursuits is an Approved Activity Provider for The Duke of Edinburgh's Award. Each year hundreds of candidates undergo training, practice and qualifying expeditions for all levels of the DofE.

There is a range of expedition packages available alongside Open Expeditions and the option of hiring our DofE instructors to oversee your groups expeditions.

Our dedicated DofE team are all highly qualified and experienced outdoors leaders with enhanced CRB clearances.  All leaders hold a Basic Expedition Leader (BEL), Walking Group Leader (WGL) or Mountain Leader (ML) qualification, as well as a current First Aid certificate. A number of our leaders are also Gold Award holders and have been involved in the DofE for many years. All our assessors are qualified under the DofE Assessor Accreditation scheme. Our leaders can train your group and prepare them for their venture, supervise their practice expedition and assess their qualifying expedition for Bronze Silver and Gold levels.
