At Peak Pursuits Limited we firmly believe that outdoor activities used in the correct way can easily become a positive tool towards the development of the young people of today.

We have proven time and time again that by attending regular sessions of activities the life skills of the young people involved have grown from strength to strength.

As the attending staff for a session, you will have been offered a place on our attending staff training. This course shows those staff who come along to the session with the young person how to get the most from the session in respect to the development of the young person. Feedback from these sessions has proved to be very positive and we have found ourselves delivering the course to a wide variety of clientele.

Peak Pursuit leaders are not only selected for their experience and qualifications in the hard skills of leading various types of outdoor pursuits, but they are also chosen for their ability in using soft skills in their delivery of the activity. Beneath the exciting exterior of the session you will see that the instructor is using it as a tool towards the development of the young people.

Our team of Social Development Workers work in tandem with the Outdoor Pursuits Leaders. They provide support for the participants of the activity and are constantly assessing the needs of the individual and the group to enable them to maximise their potential. They are also responsible for implementing the accreditation within the activities. Our Social Development Team hold many of the qualifications necessary to run the activities and it is this knowledge and experience that proves invaluable within the outdoors arena.
