Gift Card Terms and Conditions
GIFT CARD TERMS & CONDITIONS
Face value gift cards issued by Peak Pursuits Ltd entitle the
holder to choose, one of a range of Activity Sessions provided by
Peak Pursuits Ltd or it can be used as payment or part payment
against anything sold on our website. You can top up with Credit
Card if gift card value is lesser than your purchase but no change
or credit can be given if you purchase is of lesser value than face
value on your card. All Peak Pursuits Ltd gift cards carry a unique
serial number which must be quoted when making a booking by
telephone or via our website. Gift cards must be kept safely
and securely and should be taken to your Activity Session and
surrendered to us or alternatively sent to us if requested to
secure the booking or purchase. We recommend sending them by secure
mail as they are not replaceable if lost. We cannot accept
responsibility for any loss you may incur as a result of theft,
impersonation or identity fraud.
Bookings
The placing of a booking constitutes your acceptance of
our Terms & Conditions of trading but does not constitute
the creation of a contract. Peak Pusuits Ltd reserves
the right to decline to process a booking for any reason
whatsoever. The contract is between you and Peak Pursuits
Ltd, once we have processed your booking and received
payment.
Activity Session descriptions, formats and
durations
Activity Session descriptions, format and timings given on Peak
Pursuits Ltd website and in any other literature are only
intended to present a general idea of the Activity Session, and
shall not be considered binding. As Peak Pursuits
Ltd offers sessions at a wide number of venues, details such
as session lengths, itineraries, equipment used and numbers of
participants may vary from location to location. Most
'Activity Sessions' will be "open" days meaning that other members
of the public may be taking part too. If delays, curtailments
and breakdowns are not within our control, we cannot be held liable
if these should occur.
Availability
The recipient is free to request their preferred date
within the Gift Card validity period. Activity Sessions are
subject to availability and, in some cases, may be subject to
weather conditions (if your experience is weather dependent we
advise telephoning the centre on 01782 722226 before you set out to
confirm that the event will take place). To avoid
disappointment we recommend that customers book well in advance, at
least 14 days. We may occasionally be able to fit in a booking
at short notice. We recommend booking as early as possible as
you must have undertaken your Activity Session before the expiry
date of your Gift Card which is 12 months after date of purchase.
We strongly advise that you do not make any travel, accommodation
or other arrangements until you have received confirmation of your
booking. Once a date has been booked with us your Gift Card will be
deemed to be used at that point.
Restrictions
Some Activity Sessions are subject to restrictions. These
could include (but are not limited to) age, height, weight,
physical and medical restrictions, and may vary so please check
before making your booking.
Spectators
Spectators are usually welcome but occasionally we may have
restrictions on spectators due to safety regulations. Participants
are advised to check with the centre when booking.
Prices & locations
We reserve the right to vary the prices of the Activity Sessions
which we offer. Current prices can be found on our website www.peakpursuits.co.uk
Locations are correct at the time of going to press but may change
or be withdrawn for reasons beyond our control.

Dispatch
Peak Pursuits Ltd cannot be held responsible for any goods damaged
in the post or any postal delays.
Security
Gift Cards are valuable documents and cannot be replaced if they
are lost, damaged or stolen and are invalid if altered or tampered
with. Peak Pursuits Ltd accepts no liability in these
circumstances.
Validity
The Gift Card validity period is generally 12 months from date of
purchase unless otherwise stated. Activity Sessions must be
booked and undertaken within this time, otherwise the Gift Card
will be deemed to be invalid and no liability will be accepted by
Peak Pursuits Ltd.
Refunds
A full refund is available, as long as your Gift Card is
returned to us within 7 days of purchase, if bought directly from
Peak Pursuits Ltd. A refund can only be made to the purchaser and
if payment was originally made by credit/debit card the refund will
be made to the same card. A refund cannot be given once a booking
has been made. A Voucher purchased through a retailer or other
reseller will be subject to that retailer's own refund policy and
enquiries must be made directly to them: we cannot refund items
purchased from a retailer or other resellers.
Returns
The cost of returning your Gift Card for refund will not be borne
by Peak Pursuits Ltd and we strongly recommend that a secure
delivery service such as Royal Mail Special Delivery (with postal
insurance as appropriate) is used as Vouchers cannot be refunded
until they are received by us.
Problems on the day
We welcome your feedback on all of our Activity Sessions. If
you encounter a problem on the day, please immediately bring it to
the attention of your instructor at the venue so that they have a
chance to put matters right. If you have attempted resolution
but the problem was not resolved on the day, please write to us
within a week of your experience (providing your Voucher serial
number, participant's name and venue details, including who you
spoke to on the day) and we will investigate on your behalf.

Cancellation by us
If an Activity Session is cancelled by us either before or on the
day of the event due to circumstances beyond our control, we will
arrange to re-book the participant at a mutually agreed time. Peak
Pursuits Ltd cannot be held liable for any costs including (but not
limited to) travel expenses or pre-booked accommodation costs
incurred by the participant in the event of a cancellation and our
total liability for any claim in connection with an Activity
Session shall be limited to the price paid for the experience.
Cancellation by participants
Once you make a booking you are bound by our terms and
conditions. Make sure you understand our rules regarding
changing or cancelling a booking (particularly at short notice) as
a refund will not be offered in the case of infringement of these
rules. Peak Pursuits Ltd Cancellation Indemnity policy
may provide a replacement Gift Card or Activity Session in the
event of cancellation by the participant owing to circumstances
beyond their control.
Liability cover
We indemnify participating Voucher holders against damage to
equipment they use, and against liabilities to third parties,
subject to limits and compliance with their rules, terms and
conditions.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, and are governed by and in accordance with English law. The purchaser of a Voucher and/or the participant in an experience agrees to the jurisdiction of the English courts. All the clauses and sub clauses in Peak Pursuits Ltd terms and conditions are independent of each other. If one clause or sub clause is invalid or unenforceable, this will not affect any other clause or sub clause. These terms & conditions are subject to change.
The details listed above are the terms and conditions applied to Peak Pursuits Ltd Vouchers and 'Activity Sessions'. Your statutory rights are not affected.
