Our Expedition Packages meet all the conditions and requirements of the Expedition section at all 3 levels. All Qualifying Ventures meet the 20 conditions of the Expedition section. We can cater for all your expedition needs including Open Expeditions and complete expedition packages for schools and groups.
Peak Pursuits is also The Commercial Supplier of Expeditions to the DofE Award in Business programme. We have been involved since the beginning of this programme having won the tender at the start of 2007. Since then, we have worked with British Gas and Lloyds-TSB to deliver an expedition programme, running throughout the UK from Scotland to the South-East of England.
Peak Pursuits also offers DofE Open Gold Walking expeditions in the Peak District and the Lake District.
Our dedicated DofE team are all highly qualified and experienced outdoors leaders with enhanced CRB clearances. All leaders hold a Basic Expedition Leader (BEL), Walking Group Leader (WGL) or Mountain Leader (ML) qualification, as well as a current First Aid certificate. A number of our leaders are also Gold Award holders and have been involved in the DofE for many years. All our assessors are qualified under the DofE Assessor Accreditation scheme. Our leaders can train your group and prepare them for their venture, supervise their practice expedition and assess their qualifying expedition for Bronze Silver and Gold levels. These complete expedition packages come in several options and are competitively priced.
