DofE Bronze Expedition Packages from Peak Pursuits
Standard Expedition Package for schools and youth groups (inclusive of all camp fees) from £175 + VAT per person
The Bronze Standard Expedition Package consists of:
a) 2-day intensive training, in a classroom environment, introducing the main expedition skills underpinned by our Standard Workbook. Each team will plan their Practice Expedition. Under expert guidance, they will produce a routecard and tracing for each day.
b) 2-day Practice Expedition, including 1 overnight camp. Our leaders will provide additional "in-the-field" training and guidance until they feel confident that the team are ready to support themselves. Thereafter, the teams will be supervised by our leaders remotely. On arriving at camp, our leaders will supervise the camping and cooking activities to ensure these are executed safely. Each leader will carry out a de-brief with their team, and produce a report on their progress.
c) 2-day, 1-night Qualifying Expedition under remote supervision, assessed by DofE accredited assessors who, at the end of the expedition, will carry out a de-brief with the group.
