Mountain Walking has grown in popularity over recent years but it is still possible to find that special corner of wilderness in the United Kingdom. Whether your walking through the Goyt Valley in the Peak District or Climbing Ben McDuie in the Scottish Highlands nothing retracts from the beauty of our countryside.

Peak Pursuits leaders have been walking and appreciating the mountains and valleys of Great Britain for many years; in some cases over thirty. We hope that when you walk with us you can grasp a little of our enthusiasm and appreciate why we are so enthusiastic.

As with most of our activities we can offer the one-day tasters; although in walking this normally takes the form of a guided walk. We can offer guiding in all mountainous areas of the UK, but our specialised areas are The Peak District, Snowdonia, Yorkshire and the Lake District. Our guides are available to hire on a day or a weekly basis and many are accredited assessors for these areas for The Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
