Situated at Astbury Mere, Astbury Water Sports Centre is the location in Congleton offering various water sports from canoeing and kayaking to sailing and raft building. We also offer a range of land based activities including navigation and orienteering.

Open Day - Saturday 4th April
Join us for our season open day on Saturday 4th April and help us kick off the summer season!
Wristbands are available pre-booked for £12 which allows you to try unlimited activities on the day. These can also be purchased on the day for £15. Alternatively you can buy activity tokens for £3 per activity on the day.
There will be a bbq and multiple activities so be sure to head down from 11am – 3pm.
Father's Day - 21st June 2020
What better way to spend Father’s Day than with some quality time either on the water or testing out your skills on the land? Our event is on the 21st June from 10am!

Summer Spectacular - Saturday 18th July
Kick off the summer holidays with us here at Astbury on the 18th July between 10am – 4pm.
Wristbands for unlimited activities are available to pre-book for £12 per person or can be purchased on the day for £15. There are also activity tokens available for £3 per activity.

Canoe Club - Sunday Morning's
Why not come along to our Canoe Club! The club is on every Sunday morning at Astbury Water Sports Centre starting from 5th April 2020 to 25th October 2020.
The Canoe Club is a great opportunity to develop your paddling skills for obtaining paddling awards. No previous experience is needed. Instructors will sign off skills towards the Paddle Power or 1 Star Certificates. This Club is also a great chance to practice skills for higher paddling awards such as the 2* and 3* Certificates. (There is an additional cost to register on awards).
Under 16 sessions: 10am – 11am
Over 16 sessions: 11am – 12pm
£6 per person, per session.

Let's Go Paddling - Weekends & Bank Holidays
You can also get involved in our “Let’s Go Paddling” sessions! Our fun sessions are aimed at anyone aged 7 and over (including adults). This regular club runs every weekend (including Bank Holidays) starting from Sunday 5th April 2020 to Saturday 31st October 2020.
You can choose from our range of paddle boats:
Kayak: £10 per vessel, for 1 person. Minimum hire of 2 kayaks.
Kata-Kanu: £20 per vessel, for 4 – 6 people. Minimum hire of 1 Kata-Kanu.
Canoe: £15 per vessel, for 2 – 3 people. Minimum hire of 1 Canoe.
Times: 10am – 5pm (Saturday), 12pm – 5pm (Sunday), Last hire is 4pm.
We can only allow a maximum of 8 people per session so it’s best to book in advance. Don’t worry because we won’t leave you without a paddle! You can be assured that paddles and buoyancy aids are included and there will be an instructor present at all times.
